There are so many opportunities with LIS (Library & Information Studies/Science) qualification because librarians are getting old and retiring.
This is so true and it means all new graduates would be employed by now but have we considered the fact that most libraries are cutting down their budgets. Meaning that those positions will be frozen as they can't afford to fill them.
If libraries play such a vital role (like blood in the body) why are the budgets decreasing?
